We are looking for a rockstar sales professional with a passion for interior design and home furnishings to join us right here in our Rangiora showroom. We thrive on creating a curated customer experience through consulting and advising customers on how we can accentuate their homes and bring their design dreams to life! 


We are Window Furnishing experts - and you’ll be on the frontline providing professional in-home consultations for our wonderful clients. We are excited to give you the opportunity to get to know their style, their budget and their home requirements on a personal level and develop a strong rapport.



Your Responsibilities:

  • To bring a great attitude, a high level of patience, and the ability to work in a busy and sometimes pressurised role
  • Provide an excellent customer experience for our clients through Feather & Oak Interiors services
  • Follow up and manage leads within a set time frame
  • Provide window furnishings expertise and execute client projects
  • Produce home furnishings presentations and communicate concepts and product selections
  • Support large-scale window furnishings projects in partnership with the Home Furnishings Team
  • Own all phases of the client experience from consultations and site visits to installation and completion 
  • Have an interest in achieving store and individual targets
  • Represent the Feather & Oak Interiors through communication, personal presentation and professionalism 
  • Maintain a strong interest in the design industry and new fabric collections
  • Maintain the visual and presentation standards of the showroom
  • Assist and support the retail team as required 


Key Requirements:

  • Strong sales experience and customer focus
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of our extraordinary team
  • Strong administrative and project management skills
  • A commitment to quality with exceptional attention to detail
  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for building a thriving interior design business
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of fabrics / colours is helpful but not essential
  • Prior experience with interior furnishings is desirable




We provide training and ongoing development to allow you to flourish in this role. 
Hours are Tuesday 9-5pm and Saturday's 10-4.
