The Weekly Edit

This week we are looking how to create a more calming and peaceful interior. Your home should be your own personal sanctuary, a place to slow down and take rest from the stress and pace of everyday life.  Take a look at this week's edit to see how you can create a little extra serenity within your home.

1.   Ravello Bedlinen

Crafted from the highest quality French Flax Linen, the Ravello bedlinen range is prewashed and aero finished making it luxuriously soft to touch, and a dream to snuggle in to. This Biscuit colourway is a beautiful, earthy clay that offers warmth and is bound to bring a grounding and retreat feel to your bedroom.

Forget the ironing - the soft crinkles bring even more effortless style and relaxed vibes to your bedroom.

Samples of this fabric are available in our showroom.

2. Carissa Fabric

Carissa Blush, from Colefax & Fowler. Chalky pastel colours create an understated mood in this printed paisley stripe. The wood block impression lends charm to this lightweight fabric. This neutral fabric would bring peacefulness and just enough 70's chic to your interior style. It's subtle, understated and would be very easy to live with. This elegant fabric is perfect if you are looking for curtains that are visually interesting, but you also want your room to have tranquility!

 3. Introduce Texture

One of the best ways to bring a luxurious and calming aesthetic to your interior is to mix up your textures. Think plush woolen rugs, luxurious linens, crisp cottons, soft sheer curtains, filtering just the right amount of light. Your colour palette can remain neutral and your textures create the visual interest. There is reason many designers stick to neutrals, as so much can be achieved with a variety of interesting textures.

If your home is lacking a cohesive style and you are feeling overwhelmed with your interior styling, we have a team of design professionals ready to assist you.
