The Weekly Seven

Hello Sunday! Here are some of my favourite things this week and wishing all the fabulous Mums out there a very Happy Mother's Day.

1.  Gracie Jasmine Fabric

Gracie is evocative of fine lacework, echoing the intricate delicacies that are synonymous with the Temperley Bridal range. An elegant damask floral reminiscent of timeless French lace is embroidered onto a graceful wide width sheer that creates the most beautiful of silhouettes as the light filters through. Fine pockets of embroidery are embellished with a lustrous outline that brings texture and dimension to the design. This fabric is oh so pretty and romantic!

2. Lavinia Shimmer Wallpaper

Staying with beautiful florals this week! This wallpaper envelopes the senses in an enchanting scene of blossoms that climb a playful pearlescent, leopard spot background. Lavinia is an example of exquisite artistry. The intricacies of each stitch of the original embroidered design are replicated through a fine print that adds yet more sophistication to this memorable print. Gorgeous!!

 3. Designer Tip

Neutrals are always an excellent choice and a wide stripe is a fresh take on a classic. Mixing it up with a contrasting dark shade adds that element of interest and prevents everything from feeling too similar. Dark Cod Grey is going to be introduced in furniture for this client's beautiful home. The generously looped carpet adds texture while elements of white keeps everything feeling fresh. Gun metal hardware is the perfect choice with this deep shade of grey.

 5. Fabulous Curtains

We had the pleasure of working with a wonderful client who loves colour. She chose this vibrant Charles Parsons Ventura fabric in Tango and we used our elegant New York Pleat. This was a collaborative process helping this client and her husband to create curtains that bring a sense of joy and cosiness to their home.

She had this to say about her new curtains...

 6. Country Build

One of the Feather & Oak Team has an exciting new build on the horizon and has kindly offered to share some of the high and lows of building her family home in the country. Stay tuned for updates from Aleasha as she shares some of her build journey and just how the planning process has been.
