The Weekly Seven

Hello Sunday! Here are some of my favourite things this week and we have some big changes coming soon to Feather & Oak!

1.  Lewis Rose Wallpaper

 3. The Stumpy

Made from Paulownia timber (or princess tree), this is a quick growing hardwood tree and is of course a sustainable timber.

Did you know: It was once customary to plant a Paulownia tree when a baby girl was born, and then to make it into a dresser as a wedding present when she married. Cute!!

 4. Soap Stone Dish

These beautiful hand-formed dishes make a stunning addition to the home - perfect for storing and displaying precious and sentimental items. Made from metamorphic rock that consists of the mineral talc, known for being soft and easy to work with

Each Asili piece is completely unique and handcrafted in Western Kenya in a fair trade environment. Each piece has it's own subtle colour variations and character!

 5. Mother's Day Gifting

We asked some of the Mums in our team what would be their favourite Mother's Day Gift and this was one of the staff favourites. Our beautiful handcrafted Wave Vase and a faux Protea flower. A beautiful gift that keeps on giving long after Mother's Day is over.

 6. Curtains. Colours or Neutrals?

Selecting the right curtains can be a daunting task. With so many options and variations it can be hard to know where to begin. We are here to guide you through the process and help you make the right choices whether you go neutral or make a bold and colourful statement.  7. Change is coming!

We have some exciting changes coming to Feather & Oak. We have have listened to our customers and are wanting to offer a more direct and personalised Home Furnishings and Interior Design & Styling service! We will combine bringing the service to you and inviting you into the comfort of our new gorgeous design studio to make the whole process easy and stress-free! More details coming soon but watch this space for all to be unveiled in the coming days and weeks!
