Build The Look: Rhythm & Expression

Jan 18, 2022

Meet Rhythm & Expression - a love story that lies within natures raw materials.  In a busy and stressed everyday life, where it is challenging at times to keep everyday life together, we can find a slice of calm by making our home a lovely place to be.

A home where we can turn off, disconnect and put ourselves and our family first.

It is important to remember to use our senses, feelings and personality to create a home that makes us feel safe and calm.

Rhythm & Expression mirrors the rhythm of our hearts, and by expressing ourselves through tribal inspired elements, we can create a connection with our natural values in combination with the beautiful culture and history of Africa.

Hand-woven baskets, bowls and traditional art pieces made from natural materials are hero's of African inspired interiors, often being placed on walls or in groups for added visual interest.  We love incorporating natural materials that reflect Africa's resilient climate, paired with textiles that hero plants and animals that showcase its natural beauty.  Raw surfaces, soft shapes, solid and natural materials - this is a style for dreamers, inspired by distant countries who are longing for the feeling of the southern exotic warmth.

Rhythm & Expression is all about reconnecting with nature and its unadulterated magic.  May you find a deeper connection to yourself, and the world within your home.
