The Weekly Seven with Katy

Aug 01, 2021

Welcome to my Weekly Seven round-up; Wrap yourself up, grab a cuppa and check out what I've been loving this week - From all things secret projects, Liv's moving day & venetian blinds - don't miss this!

 1. Fabric Crush

As we are deep in the thick of winter, I am loving exploring warmth in different ways - in this case, luscious fabrics!

These fabrics are inspired by Rome at nightfall. Being both graphic and architectural, this Casamance collection tells a story of aged marble, ancient mosaics and recreates beautiful ornamental patterns.

 2. Wallpaper Crush

My wallpaper crush this week is inspired by France in the 1930's - a creative & prosperous time full of aesthetic & luxurious designs being birthed!

These particular designs are inspired by the beautiful curves of plants and Art Deco architecture plus very delicate geometry.. I love their super unique yet elegant look.

 3. The Big Move

Our gorgeous Liv has shared her next instalment on the blog - and, yipee!! The move date couldn't come any sooner for her and Josh. It's been such a pleasure following along and watching her first home unfold, and I hope you're all finding great value in the pearls of advice from her & Josh. We were so very lucky to join her on the final walk-through, be sure to take a peek!!

 5. Afternoon Detox

My afternoon slumps are a thing of the past this week with the addition of a yummy cup of Storm & India's Afternoon Detox tea… the delicious blend of plant based herbs leaves me feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the last chunk of my day!!

 6. Sneaky Peek

We are very busy building bee's with a new project underway - however, this time this project is very close to home! We are peeking out the window daily to check the progress.. I can't wait to show you what we're up to over the coming months.

 7. Venetians!

Choosing bathroom window coverings can be a slippery issue. You need to consider moisture, condensation, light control and privacy. Venetian blinds can be a great solution as they allow privacy and light to filter through when placed in a half open position and are waterproof.

Talk to the team about the best solution for your room.
