The Weekly Seven with Katy

Jun 19, 2021

Welcome to my Weekly Seven round-up; and what a busy week it has been! Get cosy and check out what I've been loving this week - From all things woven wools, new & exclusive vintage furniture & a sneaky date night - be sure to let me know what you're loving this week in the comments!

 1. Windsor Wool

My fabric flavour of the week is this gorgeous wool collection - consisting of four designs: a subtle herringbone, a sophisticated windowpane check, a smart pinstripe and a versatile plain, all available in a neutral colour palette.

They are the absolute perfect way to add depth, sophistication and texture into your home.

 2. Designer Cushions

I love, love, love all things Christian Lacroix and am so excited to have some beautiful cushions with his glorious designs printed on them!! They are visually striking and one of a kind. If you are looking for that statement cushion be sure to check them out soon - they won't last long.

 3. Wallpaper Crush

I'm loving all things floral this week - and how gorgeous is this Herbaria vinyl wallpaper? It's filled with an abundance of gorgeous blossoming oversized flowers inspired by still life paintings and with a textured finish that brings a modern edge.

 4. New French Collection!

We've had a complete transformation in our showroom and were VERY excited to be showcasing these beautiful French inspired pieces!!

From azure blue hues to deep pinks and everything in between, these are classic French inspired pieces with a contemporary twist and have so much personality! These items are exclusive to us in NZ and we are very excited to have them as part of the Feather & Oak collection of furniture.

 5. Honeycomb Blinds

With the cool winter temperatures upon us one of the best thermal coverings for your windows are honeycomb blinds. With a snug fit to your window frame and the cellular structure of the blind, air is trapped between the glass and the room giving you a thermal barrier. Let us know if you would like some more information about other thermally effective window treatment options - we love all things curtains and blinds!

 6. Chai Slice

Oh boy! We've been busy baking in the Feather & Oak kitchen, be sure to keep an eye out for our Winter Catalogue coming up as there will be some truly delicious treats inside.

 7. Date Night!

At the beginning of the year we booked a date night a month throughout the year and made a promise to try really hard to stick to it! I have found it really important to have that time together with Edward working away in Queenstown during the week and it is amazing how quickly it rolls around!! Last night we went out for a drink to The Ivory Bar (delicious cocktails) and then dinner at LemonGrass which is a beautiful, local, family run restaurant cooking with the freshest ingredients. It is a bit of a favourite and I can thoroughly recommend - the food is delicious every time!
