The Weekly Seven

Hello Sunday! Here are some of my favourites this week and our fabulous stylist Emma is sharing some home styling tricks for winter!

Don't miss this one!

1.   Valentina Wallpaper

Inspired by Ohara Koson’s famous designs, beautifully detailed spoonbills, hand painted in watercolour, contrast against the lightly flowing willow branches, painted in just one stroke. The roseate spoonbills recreate the bright pinks found in traditional chinoiserie. The Exhale colourway is produced on a subtle metallic ground which is a super pretty wallcovering in soft natural light and when the lamps are turned on in the evening.

You're oh-so pretty Valentina!

2. Prestegious Fabric

The dazzling Prestigious fabric offers its interpretation of luxury in interlacing, vibrant and fascinating colours. This is such a rich and interesting fabric which would make the most gorgeous statement curtains for a master bedroom. This fabric comes in four equally beautiful colourways. It has a timeless quality and would bring seriously luxurious vibes to your home. Yes please to the pouf too!!

 3. Create an Entrance

Our entranceways are the first thing that a guest sees when we welcome them into our homes. Sometimes these areas can be a little forgotten and unloved (piles of shoes and clutter anyone!?)

A bench seat is beautiful piece of furniture which is functional and inviting to incorporate into this space.

Just add a rug and statement piece of art and you can create the perfect entranceway!

 4. What Is a Styling Consult

Our Styling Consult is a chance to get an idea of your current design style (if there is one, and if not, that's perfectly okay!) as well as explore what existing pieces of furniture or decor you might want to work with.

Getting to know your story helps us style your space so that it reflects you.

The styling consult is the perfect, cost-effective way to get a taste of all the services we have to offer. Our prices are all outlined on our website and a stylist is more affordable than you might think. Take a look!

 5. Don't Make This Mistake

Our Home Stylist Emma had this advice for purchasing rugs!

"Don't buy rugs that are too small! Make sure your rug is large enough to ground the space and the furniture. Think of it like the 'framing' of your space!"

It is better to engage a stylist or designer before you invest in some of these larger items for the home as we can insure you get it right the first time!

 6. Get Creative

Wondering how to get creative with your home décor? We love to think outside the box with our styling in winter when homes can feel a little lack·lustre!

"Winter is a great time to be creative with your home décor. Using sticks and branches that you collect on a winter walk, are a great way to style a vase when flowers are less available."

Fun style tip - thanks Emma!

 7. Cosy Winter Recipe

This week I am sharing a winter recipe which I am excited to make. Throwing food in a slow cooker is an absolute time saver for me and I have had this Slow Cooker Chicken Casserole recipe open all week and I am dreaming of coming home to the smell of slow cooked casserole on a chilly, wintery night. What is your go to winter comfort food?
