The Weekly Seven

Hello, Sunday! It's time to get warm and cozy and take a peek at the beautiful things I've been loving this week.

Spring time bliss, lovely linens and remember the magnificent life of Queen Elizabeth II.

1. Linesta

I love this fabric! It's a fusion of European finesse and pure linen fibre. Gentle in palette with an organically slubbed nature and an extended colour variety, it will adorn an array of interiors with a casual, calm and sophisticated finish. I particularly love the stonewashed effect which gives it a really soft, natural look. This fabric is definitely one of my favourites!

2. Kalamkari Inspiraiton

How pretty is this wallpaper? Inspired by the art of Kalamkari block printing, as found in Persia and India, it features a simple floral pattern with softly rounded shapes and a subtle colour palette that emulates the effect of natural dyes. I think it's so wonderful and timeless, and it would definitely add a touch of elegance to any room. Plus, it's made from eco-friendly materials and is printed on FSC certified paper!

 3. Monochrome Magic

There's something about beautiful art prints that just makes a space feel complete. Whether it's a simple black and white photo or a colourful abstract piece, the right print can really transform a room. And I've seen firsthand how much of a difference they can make in our showroom. Just seeing those beautiful prints on the walls makes the whole place come alive!

 4. Kimono Miwa Wallhanging

This beautiful Kimono Miwa Wallhanging adds subtle depth and interest to your interior through a beautiful pop of colour to your walls. I just love the sweet cherry blossoms, and it would make a great conversation starter.

 5. Outdoor Bliss

I must say - the new outdoor patio at our new Design HQ is the perfect spot for a midday sun break! We had so much fun styling our favourite new Ergo chairs too - they're both durable, sturdy and I just love the simple design that perfectly blends comfort and style. Did you know they're also stackable and have a special UV additive that prevents sun damage from our harsh NZ rays!

 6. Spring Refresh

Warmer evenings and a little splash of sunshine means Spring is here! It's a great time to give our homes a little love and introduce some lighter textiles, colours and textures. Something as simple as refreshing bedding and pillows in the bedroom is one of my favourite ways to bring life, joy and vibrancy into my home.

 7. Queen Elizabeth II

It is with great sadness that we learnt of the passing of Her Majesty The Queen this week. For the last 70 years, she has been a much-loved and respected figurehead. Through good times and bad, she has always shown her dedication to her people and her passion for her country. Her long reign will be remembered for many things – her sense of duty, her unflappable resolve, and her unshakeable belief in the British people. Her quiet dignity and humility is inspiring and she will remain a much-loved monarch by so many in the Commonwealth.
