The Weekly Seven with Katy

Oct 16, 2021

Hello Sunday! It's time to enjoy all things beautiful. It's been a busy last week of the school holidays, and this year is surely - from family ski trips, farmers markets & Christmas cheer - check out my favourites from the week that was.

 1. Artemis

Hello, GLAM! This week I am crushing over all things House of Hackney - the Artemis collection showcases an array of detailed wild flowers in a range of dramatic colour ways. This iconic print is so versatile - we love pairing it with animal print in the House-of-Hackney-style for a splash of drama.

 2. Tea Infusers

I'm currently obsessed with these gorgeous tea infusers! Featuring a three piece design - simply add your favourite tea leaves and water, screw together and allow it to infuse to your suit your taste!

They are so handy to take away with me on family trips, or whilst I am busy on the road with clients!

 5. Christmas Cheer

Christmas decor and gift planning has begun - this is my favourite time of year, nothing beats spending time with my family and celebrating together! I'm adding to my Christmas decor collection with these delicate, timeless ornaments from the Rader collection. Not only do they look incredibly charming at home, they double as the perfect Santa sack addition for that hard to buy for friend or family member!!

 6. 28 Day Detox - Day 14!!

I'm on to day 14 of my four week detox and I'm not going to lie - some days have been harder than others. I have tried super hard to stick to the guidelines and am definitely feeling like my body is responding well to the changes. This is the first time I have actually managed to stick to the process (and the timeframe) and I find keeping busy helps you forget about what you might be missing out. I have definitely stuck a little closer to home though - eating out is definitely challenging!!

 7. School Holidays

I have taken a few days off to spend with the children during these holidays (busy Mum guilt is real!). We have spent time at our favourite spot in Kaikoura, skied for the last time this season, ate our way around the Ohoka Farmers Market (I had the Crispy Cauliflower Bites and can definitely recommend) as well as tucked in and watched movies and hung out together. It has been fun but the speed with which this year is moving is truly alarming! I know before we know it we will be saying goodbye to 2021 and into the summer holidays.
