This morning I found a slightly wonky handmade card hidden (not so secretly!) under my pillow, and it got me thinking about how homes are really just containers for love and memories.

From oversized art in tiny spaces to mixing patterns that shouldn't work (but absolutely do), these 'design rebels' often become our favorite features. It's like that friend who somehow pulls off wearing three patterns at once - it shouldn't work, but it's fabulous!

There's nothing quite like the excitement of new fabric collections being viewed in the studio! This week we've been like kids in a candy store, exploring fresh textures, patterns, and possibilities (catch our latest Reel for a sneak peek!)

From sophisticated neutrals that feel like silk to performance fabrics that somehow manage to be both practical AND beautiful, these new additions are already inspiring some exciting projects. We're seeing a beautiful shift towards textiles that tell a story - whether it's through subtle texture or bold statement patterns.

Those handmade Mother's Day cards this morning! There's nothing quite like reading their beautiful words and seeing yourself through their eyes - somehow making all the busy mornings, teenage mood navigation, and homework dramas absolutely worth it. These little paper treasures remind us that a home isn't always about our carefully styled spaces, but in the messy, love-filled moments that make a house a home.

Design Tip

When breaking design rules (like we chatted about in our second slide!), start small. Try an oversized artwork in a compact space, or mix patterns in a cushion arrangement first. It's like testing a new recipe - start with a small batch before making it for a dinner party! This way you can build your confidence in breaking those rules intentionally.
